Ok since falling short on the Dyno 2 weeks ago and finding a bad injector, I have been inspired to do some work on the Z. The first thing I need to do of course is find a replacement injector, I am also in the process of polishing my upper plenum, water pipes, and TB assembly. I am still in the process of searching, but does anyone know how I could identify what year motor I have without taking anything apart? I have a JDM engine in the car now that replaced a '90, and I dont want to find myself doing a bunch of work or buying parts that wont fit... The Plenum, water pipes, and TBs that I am polishing are off my original '90 motor. I am still in the process of searching but from what I can tell the differences in the plenums are basically the injector seats. So I dont want to buy 1 replacement injector that may be an early style if I have a 95+ motor. I also dont want to go through the long polishing process on the 90 plenum if the injectors that are currently in the new motor wont fit the '90 plenum. Basically I want to make sure all the parts fit now before I invest a lot of time and money only to find out later that something is not going to be applicable. Thanks.
